Tour Plan
After breakfast, embark on a full day tour of Addis Ababa. Visit the National Museum to see artifacts including the 3.5 million-year-old skeleton of Lucy. Explore St. George’s Cathedral, Mercato, and Mt. Entoto for panoramic views. Enjoy traditional Ethiopian cuisine for lunch and choose from various activities such as exploring rainforests or markets. Conclude the day with a captivating sunset over the city.
Travel to Bahir Dar either by flight or overland. Upon arrival, explore Lake Tana and its island monasteries, including Ura Kidane Mihiret and Azwa Mariam. Take a scenic drive to the Blue Nile Falls, known as Tissisat, and enjoy the breathtaking views. Cross the Blue Nile by boat and return to Bahir Dar for the night
Drive to Gondar and explore its rich history. Visit Fasilidas’ Palace, the Bath of Fasiledes, Quskuam Church, and the Church of Debre Berham Selassie. Spend time at the colorful local market before retiring for the evening.
Embark on a scenic drive to Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO-listed area known for its diverse habitats and stunning landscapes. Encounter gelada baboons and marvel at the breathtaking scenery before returning to your accommodation.
Fly to Axum, the ancient capital of the Axumite Empire. Explore the UNESCO-listed sites including the steles, Santa Maria of Zion church, and other historical treasures. Spend the night in Axum.
Fly to Lalibela and visit its renowned rock-hewn churches, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore Bet Medihanialem, Bet Mariam, Bet Danaghel, Bet Golgotha, Bet Mikael, and Bet Giyorgis among others. Discover the Eastern Rock Churches in the afternoon before retiring for the night.
